Electronest

Electronest is the creative association of Pierre Schmidt and Jérôme Rigaud developing technology for design & communication purposes. They look to act on both sides of a project’s implementation, the design stage and the development stage. Electronest like to define its activities using terms like ‘electronic presence’ or ‘digital objects’. These terms aim to allow us to think beyond the simple scope of web page design, considering them to be ‘digital objects’ no longer restrained to two dimensions. They suggest the term ‘electronic presence’ provides the possibility to no longer refer to a url as just aesthetic images and effective logotypes, but in fact possesses much more through the possibility of design processes.

For On Purpose Electronest have designed the exhibition’s website (http://on-purpose.info). It is a standalone site unconnected to the Arnolfini server, allowing the possibility for Arnolfini’s web presence to become a family of sites.
